15 years of powering change: Atika’s Journey from start-up days to the heart of logistics 

In our series celebrating 15 years of Evolt Charging, we’re shining a light on the people who’ve helped turn a small, little-known venture into a driving force in the UK’s EV industry.

This time, we meet Atika — a powerhouse in logistics whose journey spans almost 11 of those years. From the early days when “EV charging” could be met with puzzled looks, to keeping today’s nationwide network moving, Atika has been at the heart of it all. 

If you’ve ever plugged into an Evolt charger, there’s a good chance Atika and her team had something to do with it. Based in our Hemel Hempstead office, Atika is Head of Logistics — which, in her words, means: 

Her warehouse and procurement crew work closely with almost every part of the business — projects, service, finance — making sure everything from spare parts to full charging units arrives exactly where and when it’s needed.

She credits their success to one thing: trust. 

Atika joined Evolt back in 2014, when electric vehicle charging was still a mystery to most people (“Is that like something from The Jetsons?” she remembers being asked).
Over the years, she’s worked across sales, admin, and business support before stepping into logistics — a journey that’s given her a deep appreciation for how every team fits together. 

Outside of work, Atika’s passions are cooking, family time, and fast cars. Her personal motto? 

And when she eventually retires, you’ll find her in a sunny flower shop, Beetle convertible parked outside, surrounded by blooms.
