New charging solutions at Exeter Airport

Evolt Charging, recently completed a successful installation of advanced charging solutions for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service (DSFR) at Exeter Airport, earning praise from all involved for the efficiency and quality of the work. 

The project, managed by Mark Foulger of Evolt Charging, took place in July 2024 and featured a full turnkey solution, including installation, product management, and comprehensive back-office support. This complete package demonstrated Evolt’s commitment to delivering top-tier services tailored to the needs of their clients. 

The installation was carried out through our partnership with SDE, who received high praise from DSFR for their exceptional work. The team was described as “faultless,” with DSFR commending their quick and clean installation process. Nigel, a representative of DSFR, highlighted the positive experience, specifically praising Foulger for his excellent communication and for delivering exactly what was promised. 

A key highlight of the project was the implementation of Dynamic Load Management (DLM), a simple yet effective innovation that optimises the charging process. This feature is particularly valuable for ensuring reliable and efficient operations across multiple sites, addressing DSFR’s needs effectively. 

The success and relationship building to complete this installation at Exeter Airport marks a significant achievement for DSFR and Evolt Charging. Both teams are now looking ahead, with plans already in discussion for further installations in 2025. This successful project serves as a testament to the power of working through challenges, consistent regular communication, collaboration and innovation, setting the stage for future advancements in charging infrastructure.
